Have you ever been to a pro-Palestinian rally? Have you ever attempted to have a conversation with those people? Have you seen the grotesque treatment of Ambassador Oren by Palestinian students at UC Irvine?
I think those Palestinians were exercising their free speech big time, and I believe we must do the same. Because there is no discernible difference between the ultimate aim of the “Irvine 11” and Butler-Khalidi. They want me dead and gone. And so, I will not permit my institutions to offer them a platform. And I will encourage our side to break up, in the Irvine 11 fashion, the other side’s attempts to speak.
Because they’re pirates, and as such are not entitled to the protections afforded civilized people.
A good friend of mine was serving his reserve duty with a few leftists back around the Oslo years, 1993-4. One of them asked, Why aren’t the settlers willing to make a sacrifice so that all of us could live in peace?
And my friend answered, I’ll do one better. You only want the Palestinians to get my house – I’m ready to give them your daughter. Why won’t you give your daughter up so that all of us could live in peace?
In our just fight to protect our homes and our lives, we need not be polite, considerate, or understanding. Those qualities are usually practiced by Czechs, with predictable results.
The Palestinian hordes in America cannot have it both ways. If they bully, intimidate, and threaten us, in so many different ways, they are not entitled to anything less than bullying, intimidation, and threats in return. We will shut them up in the campuses, we will shut them up in the public squares, we will shut them up in the high schools, we will shut them up at the 92nd Street Y, we will shut them up until they either disappear or start inviting Danny Ayalon to speak in their mosques.
By the way, I believe Avigdor Lieberman has a whole list of mosques Ayalon should start visiting…
