On Sunday, German police found a dead body in Berlin, beaten beyond recognition. The body was found in an old monastery.

Nearby they found a pair of sweatpants with an Israeli passport in them.

The Chabad Rabbi in Berlin, Rabbi Yehuda Teichtal said the passport belonged an Israeli man who was supposed to join them for the Seder, but never arrived, according to NRG.

The police have not yet determined if the passport belongs to the beaten man.
