To support this premise they cite a book by Alison Weir, “Against Our Better Judgment,” which they claim “documents” prove that the alliance is false, indeed, “nothing could be further from the truth.” Weir is the executive director of “If Americans Knew” and is president of the Council for the American Interest, both virulently anti-Israel entities the goals of which are to expose what they claim are the dastardly deeds of the Jewish State and turn Americans and Europeans against it.
Also glowingly reported on this blog is that Five members of Jewish Witnesses for Peace and Friends attended a rally in Dearborn, Michigan on Sunday, October 18. The Dearborn rally was part of a series of rallies throughout the United States and Europe “to support Palestine in its Third Intifada.”
The AFNI billboard is located on a main Detroit thoroughfare, Eight Mile Road, which is a half mile west of the Southfield Expressway. According to the DeirYassin.org blog, it is visible to the four lanes of traffic flowing east on the south side of the road.
The billboard on which this political, anti-Israel message is displayed is owned by Lamar Advertising Company, one of the largest outdoor advertising companies in North America. It is based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
