Dozens of Afula residents, from the many thousands at Saturday night’s protest for Shelly Dadon, rioted overnight.
The rioters blocked roads towards Jenin, stoned a car driven by Arabs, fought with the police, and even threw stones at policemen.
Police arrested 11 people, and have since released 8 of them.
Residents of the northern town of Afula are angry at the murder of Shelly Dadon by terrorists, as well as, by the release of terrorists by the Israeli government.
The police have arrested suspects in the murder of Dadon, but have placed a gag order on releasing more information about the murder suspects, other than stating the murder was “nationalistic”, which is a euphemism for a terror attack.
