Taypic Erdoğan may become Turkey’s first elected President, after serving for around a decade as Turkey’s Prime Minister.

Elections are being held today (Sunday), and Erdoğan has a strong lead over his two opponents, to win the five year term.

Erdoğan is a staunch Islamist, and has expressed vile and hateful statements towards Israel.

If he wins, he will pretty much have unopposed control over Turkey.
