The Grand Synagogue of Paris is among sites being protected by the French military.

Some days are just filled with miracles that make one wonder how anyone could possibly deny the presence of a Greater Power in the world. Especially in France.

A French soldier guarding a Jewish community center last week in Nice accidentally discharged his weapon in a three-bullet burst.

The first miracle occurred when the weapon happened to be pointed at the ground.

Miracle two was that the kickback did not send the weapon – or the bullets, flying in other directions.

Miracle three was the soldier’s location: OUTSIDE the building he was guarding and not near many of those he was supposed to be protecting.

Miracle four came in the form of the report that no one was injured, and no property damage was reported, even though it was a volley of shots, according to France 3 TV in Nice.

The initial report by Le Parisien notes the incident took place at the local Chabad House, which the soldier was assigned to protect and defend.

Of course, it’s important to know how to control one’s firearm when taking it upon one’s self to assume the task of protecting others …

Terrorists are generally very impatient individuals and have no time for the learning curve when it comes to defending forces.
