Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stood behind Arden and Hirsch on Sunday, when he announced his “full support” to the Minister’s intention “to appoint the best man for the position of Inspector General of the Israel Police.” At his weekly cabinet meeting, Netanyahu said that Hirsch is a worthy person who will make an excellent commissioner, “the right person in the right place, an ethical and dedicated officer who has great capabilities to bring about changes and contribute to strengthening the Israeli police and the rule of law in our country.”
