The father of an Arab family is dead and his young son badly injured after the bomb he was preparing in his home on Monday blew up unexpectedly in the northern Gaza town of Beit Lahiya.

The dead terrorist, Muhammad Nimer Makadma, 50, was a member of the Izz a-Din al-Qassam military wing of Gaza’s ruling Hamas terror group. His young son sustained serious shrapnel wounds.
