GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee is expected to arrive in Israel on Tuesday, according to a report broadcast on CNN.
Huckabee, who is running in the 2016 presidential race, will spend only 48 hours in the Jewish State this time around, he said.
The purpose of this visit is to “raise funds, but more importantly,” he said, he will “meet some officials and discuss the Iranian nuclear program.”
Huckabee is a well-known face in the State of Israel, having been a frequent visitor to Jerusalem over the past several years. He is deeply familiar with the politics of the region and with the security issues facing Israel.
