The purpose of this visit is to “raise funds, but more importantly,” he said, he will “meet some officials and discuss the Iranian nuclear program.”

Huckabee is a well-known face in the State of Israel, having been a frequent visitor to Jerusalem over the past several years. He is deeply familiar with the politics of the region and with the security issues facing Israel.
