IAF fighter jet heads to Gaza.

Israeli fighter pilots bombed a Hamas military post in northern Gaza at dawn on Thursday.

The attack came in retaliation for gunfire that hit the southern Israeli community of Netiv HaAsara early Wednesday evening.

Two houses in the community were damaged in the attack, with windows broken and items damaged inside the homes.

The gunfire was traced to the Hamas military post targeted by the Israeli aircraft, according to a statement issued by the IDF.

No physical injuries were reported in either attack.

According to a report by the Palestinian Authority-based WAFA news agency, damage was reported at the Gaza target, located north of Beit Lahiya.
