Flames threaten IDF outpost near Kiryat Arba

Palestinian Authority Arabs in Judea set fire to two sites on a hill near an outpost next to Kiryat Arba on Friday afternoon.

The flames spread to an IDF military base close to antennas and military equipment that was set up in the area.

Soldiers and firefighters who were battling the flames outside and in the base were also forced to evacuate military equipment at the same time.

According to a report posted on the Hebrew-language 0404 military website, “a group of Arabs stood and began to cheer. “They raised their arms, and shouted for joy,” a soldier told the website.
