The IDF retaliated early Sunday morning in response to the rocket launched at Ashkelon on Saturday night. IAF fighter planes bombed terrorist infrastructures in Gaza.

The attack happened around 3:30 AM, according to sources in Gaza. A Hamas training base was hit in northern Gaza near Beit Lahia with two missiles. No terrorists were injured in the attack.

All IAF planes returned home safely.

In addition, Defense Minister shut down the Erez and Kerem Shalom border crossings, except for humanitarian purposes.

While a Salafist/ISIS terrorist group, the “Omar Brigades” took credit for the attack, Israel holds Hamas terrorist organization ultimately responsible for everything that happens in Gaza, which is what the ISIS group hoped for.

There are reports that Hamas sent a message to Israel to hold off on the retaliatory strike so they [Hamas] could deal with their terrorist opposition group.

Hamas is not prepared for another round of war with Israel, just yet.

ISIS-Gaza’s “Omar Brigade” released a letter taking credit for the rocket attack, demanding their fellow terrorists be released from Hamas and Israeli prisons.
