Iranian-Backed Terrorists Tried to Stage Massive Attack in Jordan

A member of the Iranian-backed Bayt al-Maqdis terrorist organization smuggled 100 pounds of explosives into northern Jordan but was caught before he could stage a massive terrorist attack, the Jordanian newspaper Al-Rai reported Monday.

The suspect holds citizenship in Iraq and Norway.

Iran’s Hezbollah army in Syria makes Jordan its next logical target.

A security official told the Jordanian newspaper, “This is the most serious case in a decade.”
