Islamic State (ISIS) claims that the Jordanian air strike killed the female US hostage, Kayla Mueller.
Perhaps it did, but Islamic State actually murdered the Jordanian pilot a month ago, and pretended he was still alive while they toyed with Jordan in negotiations, so it’s highly doubtful that Kayla Mueller was actually killed in that Jordanian air strike.

Islamic State is reportedly planning to expand their hostage-taking activities to Americans in nearby countries.
Jordan is running additional sorties against ISIS.
