Israel’s Tourism Ministry has asked Michelin to carry out an independent study to assess the country’s gastronomy standing and its potential.

In fact, the study is already in process, with a final report to be presented to the ministry by December 2017.

Michelin is considered a global reference for gastronomy; as such, the research findings will serve as an important tool for Israel in promoting culinary tourism, the ministry says.
