Tel Aviv University Professors Yona Keisari and Itzhak Kelsonhave developed a tiny radioactive wire which irradiates tumors from the inside out. The cancer-killing “cluster bomb” may have significantly more power to keep tumors from reoccuring, by helping the body break down tumors in such a way that the body develops immunity to their return, according to Israel21C.
The treatment will soon begin clinical trials at Beilinson Hospital.
