Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sarah arrived Thursday at the headquarters of the United Nations in New York City.
Netanyahu is scheduled to address the UN General Assembly, following a speech by Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas.
Along with the Netanyahus, Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon and MK Michael Oren of the Kulanu party arrived there as well.
Oren, a former Israeli Ambassador to the United States, is nearly as familiar with the unique intricacies and foibles of American culture and politics as Netanyahu. He currently serves as Deputy Minister for Diplomacy in the Prime Minister’s Office.
