A 25 year old Israeli was severely injured in a drive-by shooting near Rechalim Junction just after midnight (Monday night/Tuesday morning).

The man, who is conscious, was shot in the hand, hip and back by terrorists in a passing car.

Rechalim Junction is along Road 60, south of Tapuach junction in the Shomron, and around 5 minutes east of Ariel.

MDA paramedics treated the man on site, and then transported him to Beilinson Hospital.

The town of Rechalim was founded in 1991, at the site were Arab terrorists shot up a bus, killing Yitzhak Rofeh and Rachel Drouk.
