Israeli police once again have managed to get involved in a traffic accident while chasing after a fleeing Arab.
This time around, it ended up a lot better than earlier this year, when police in the south chased after an Arab vehicle that had fled a checkpoint. As the police chased, the speeding Arab vehicle was recklessly driven over to the wrong side of the road, crashing into another vehicle and killing its Jewish driver.
Monday’s crash occurred on Highway 5, which connects northern Tel Aviv with the north-south superhighway 6 (Kvish 6) and which continues into Samaria. The pursuing police car and the fleeing Arab car collided, causing moderate injuries to the Arab and lighter injuries to three policemen.
