MK Betzalel Smotrich (Bayit Yehudi) took on Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon and Prime Minister Netanyahu in a series of twitter comments, in response to their condemnation of the IDF soldier who shot and killed the already wounded terrorist in Hebron who had just stabbed an IDF soldier.

Smotrich argued was the political leadership are confusing laws with morality, and worse, they’re inventing twisted moral values.

Smotrich tweeted to Yaalon:

“The Defense Minister has gotten lost. Where did you get this twisted morality from? It may be a problem legally, but morally?! What’s not moral about killing a terrorist?!”

He attacked the positions of Prime Minister Netanyahu:

“Too bad that Netanyahu align himself with the politically correct left. Morally, a terrorist who tries to kill Jews is marked for death.”

In other tweets, Smotrich said there’s nothing moral about keeping a terrorist alive who tried to murder Jews. And Yaalon is confusing morality and law.
