Along with the rest of her family, when U.S. President Donald Trump accompanied him Monday during his historic visit to the Western Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem, Ivanka Yael Trump Kushner was there as well.
Dressed in an elegant long-sleeved black top and long blue skirt, with a matching small strapped French black hat atop her coiffed blond hair, the Orthodox Jewish daughter of the American president quietly made her way to the women’s section of the Wall.
Placing her hands against the huge, ancient stones, she closed her eyes and prayed as her father first did the same, and then was escorted around the site by the Rabbi of the Wall, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch and the director of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation.
Ivanka Yael Kushner, who converted in an Orthodox ceremony years ago to Judaism, is married to Jared Kushner, a businessman-turned-senior White House adviser to her father who over the years had developed strong connections to leading families in Israel.
The Kushners are parents to three young children and reside in Washington DC.
