U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry condemned the Arab murders of four Jews praying in a Jerusalem synagogue Tuesday morning and labeled it an “act of pure terror and senseless brutality.”
Speaking in London, Kerry told reporters, “This morning in Jerusalem Palestinians attacked Jews who were praying in a synagogue.
“People who have come to worship God in a sanctuary of a synagogue were… murdered in a holy place in an act of pure terror and senseless brutality and murder.”
Interestingly, The New York Times referred to the terrorists as “assailants” and in the same article called the shooting of Temple Activist Rabbi Yehuda Glick last month an “episode.”
