MK Oren Hazan (Likud) was hospitalized Friday in Beilinson Medical Center, Petach Tikva, following complaints that he was feeling ill. His condition is stable. Hazan’s father told reporters that the MK arrived at the emergency room with severe pain in his stomach. He underwent tests through the night and on Saturday morning he was taken to surgery under full anesthesia.
The surgery revealed that a disconnected vein in Hazan’s body created a major blood leakage. The surgery ended around noon Saturday and Hazan was moved to the recovery room.
Hazan had been scheduled to fly Saturday night as part of a delegation of MKs to Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. The mission includes Coalition Chairman MK David Bitan (Likud), and MK Hilik Bar (Zionist Camp).
