The Knesset Ethics Committee has prohibited Raam-Ta’al MK Ahmed Tibi  from delivering one-minute speeches for the next month, after he used the plenum to lambast, in Arabic, an earlier Ethics Committee decision to suspend him from the Knesset for a week.

Tibi’s spokesman responded with a complaint to Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin that the Knesset Ethics Committee is a “right-wing tribunal that oppresses Tibi because of his speeches.”

“MK Tibi will continue to give his profound and sharp speeches without fear and without hesitation,” his spokesman added.
