A man yelling, “this is for Syria” stabbed 3 people in a London subway station on Saturday evening.
The attack happened at the Leytonstone station. One of the victims is in serious condition.
London police attempted to taser the stabber, but failed at first, and ended up having to taser the attacker 6 times.
After the stabber was captured, someone (unclear who) can be heard yelling that someone else is not a real Muslim.
Scotland Yard declared the east London incident a terror attack.
Perhaps related to this attack, a few days ago the UK began bombing ISIS positions in Syria, following a parliamentary decision.
In an unrelated story, the UK’s Telegraph reported that following a personal invitation by PM Netanyahu to Prince Charles to visit Israel, the British Royal Family will never visit Israel.
The Foreign Office declined to comment, but British officials say there are too many political landmines in the way of a visit to a country that occupies Palestinian territory and lives within disputed borders.
“Until there is a settlement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, the Royal family can’t really go there,” said one Whitehall source.
“There have been inward State Visits by Israel, which just involves dealing with the Head of State, but in Israel so much politics is caught up in the land itself that it’s best to avoid those complications altogether by not going there.”
