Sunday’s terrorist attack on a metropolitan Tel Aviv bus was only one of at least 150 “significant” attempts at terror by Palestinian Authority Arabs this year, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told the Likud Knesset caucus Monday.
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and President Barack Obama have repeatedly claimed that Mahmoud Abbas, chairman of the Palestinian Authority, has successfully fought to reduce terror. Kerry went so far earlier this year to proudly state that not even one Jews was killed in a terrorist attack in 2012 and therefore Abbas is doing a great job. A few weeks later, the first Jewish victim in 2013 of Palestinian Authority terror was killed, followed by several others since then.
The “significant” terrorist attacks, and attempts at terror, which were foiled by the IDF, do not include thousands of rock-throwing and firebombing incidents that are intended to cause fatal crashes.
