Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has invited the president of the Democratic Republic of Congo, President Felix Tshisekedi, to visit Israel.

The invitation came during a phone call between the two men on Tuesday night, during which Tshisekedi congratulated Netanyahu on winning the most recent election.

The two leaders discussed ways to deepen relations and advance bilateral cooperation during the conversation, according to a communique from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
