Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will convene the Cabinet in an emergency session Friday afternoon, several hours before the beginning of the Passover holiday.
The Cabinet still functions with the ministers from the former coalition.
Netanyahu told President Barack Obama in a phone conversation that the temporary agreement with Iran on its nuclear program is a “bad deal that actually will help it develop a bomb instead of preventing it from doing so.
Likud ministers already have spoken sharply against the deal, and the emergency Cabinet meeting is aimed at the American public to help build opposition to the agreement.
