A Gaza terrorist blew it at work and didn’t make it home for lunch on Monday.
The 25-year-old member of the Iranian-backed Islamic Jihad terror group was apparently working on a bomb in the northern Gaza town of Jabaliya when he lost control of the device, Israel’s Channel 10 TV reported.
Two other colleagues in the group were killed in similar training ‘accidents’ on Saturday. Military sources report the explosives used were probably similar to those used to target IDF soldiers who patrol along the security fence that runs along the Gaza border.
Islamic Jihad often works in tandem with Gaza’s ruling Hamas terrorist organization. The two have said they plan to join the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in forming a new Palestinian Authority (PA) unity government with the Fatah faction led by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, who also heads the PLO.
