Police count counterfeit dollars found in the village of Yatta. March 2, 2017

In a police operation run in conjunction with the IDF this past weekend in the village of Yatta near Hebron, police found a suitcase filled with what they suspect are counterfeit dollars. $800,000 counterfeit dollars to be exact.

A 35-year-old Arab resident of the village was arrested and brought in for investigation, according to a report in Kol Hazman.

The joint operation was actually searching for weapons, when they hit the jackpot.

The investigation is still ongoing.

In an unrelated story, overnight, security forces arrested 4 people connected with terror attacks. One wanted man was arrested in Anata and another in Samua. In Jilazun, two Hamas members were captured.
