Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Leib Auerbach, the son-in-law of the Admor of Slonim, shlita, underwent successful cardiac surgery on Tuesday, Aug. 4 at Tel Hashomer Medical Center in Tel Aviv.

Rabbi Auerbach was airlifted by Medivac helicopter to Tel Hashomer from Ziv Hospital, where he was taken after he collapsed on Tuesday.

The rabbi is now recuperating from the surgery, doctors report. Deputy Health Minister Yaacov Litzman visited with the Slonimer Rebbe, shlita on Tuesday to update him on his son-in-law’s condition. The Rebbe thanked the minister for his assistance in transferring his son-in-law from Ziv Hospital to Tel Hashomer.

The public is asked to please continue prayers for the good health and speedy recovery of Chaim Yehuda Leib ben Gita.
