The daughter of the late former Israeli Chief Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, zt’l, Rabanit Adina Bar Shalom, has been invited to join the Yesh Atid party.

Bar Shalom confirmed that she has met with party leader Yair Lapid several times, according to Reshet TV, and said she is not ruling out anything at this point.

Her father was the Spiritual Leader of the Sephardic religious Shas Party.

Bar Shalom is the founder of the Hareidi College in Jerusalem, and a recipient of the Israel Prize for her contributions to Israeli society.
