The Red Alert incoming rocket warning siren was triggered at around 12 minutes after midnight late Tuesday night in the southern Israeli city of Netivot.

The siren was also activated in the Jewish communities of Alumim and Shasheret, further to the south, sending hundreds of families racing for cover, waking their children to bring them to safety.
