Six firebombs, also known as Molotov cocktails -- but these are actually IED, improvised explosive devices, packed with sharp screws to maximize injuries when bursting upon impact

May logged the highest number of terror attacks against Israelis in nearly three years, with an almost 40 percent hike in April, according to a monthly report by the Israel Security Agency.

Of the 365 attacks in May, 271 involved firebombs. The tally was the highest since October 2015, when a whopping 620 attacks were recorded against Israelis.

One of the attacks resulted in a death — IDF Duvdevan soldier Ronen Lubarsky, 20, was killed when Palestinians in Samaria dropped a stone slab on his head while his unit was making terror-related arrests in the al-Am’ari camp near Ramallah.

Another soldier was injured in an explosion in Jerusalem and three others, as well as an Israeli civilian, were hurt by a rocket launched from Gaza.
