Arabs attacking Israelis with rocks. (file photo)

Arabs in Jerusalem hurled rocks at passing motorists on Thursday in the mixed Arab-Jewish neighborhood of A-Tur (Abu Tor).

Six vehicles were damaged in separate rock attacks by Arabs but miraculously, none of the drivers or their passengers were physically hurt.

Border Patrol police officers searched the surrounding area of the attacks for the perpetrators and investigators will follow up, police said.

Sixteen people were arrested Wednesday by Jerusalem District Police for disrupting the public order.

In the past two weeks, nearly 200 suspects – 188 people, including 71 minors under age 18 – were arrested on charges of disrupting the public order in the Israeli capital.
