The State Department has issued an official statement saying, “For questions regarding the investigation, we refer you to the Tabuk Police Department.”

“All the information we’re getting back right now,” Cramer’s nephew Christopher Arsenault told The Daily Beast, “is that the State Department and FBI, everybody, is sitting on their hands waiting for the Saudis to do their investigation.”

Arsenault and Cramer were close and they stayed in regular contact while the older man was in Saudi Arabia. “He wasn’t depressed,” Arsenault asserted, “he wasn’t in debt, he just adopted a puppy, a little Doberman named Rugby.”

Clark Friese, a spokesperson for Kollsman, meanwhile has told Fox News.com the company has “finally gotten all the needed info to his family and we have given them the money for repatriation and an autopsy. It’s just a matter of moving through the process at this point.”
