Scientists have successfully developed a vaccine against the deadly Ebola virus, according to a report by the BBC.

Approximately 80% of the mice injected with Ebola after being inoculated with the vaccine were protected.  The vaccine is also capable of remaining viable in the long-term and is therefore able to be stockpiled.
