Karen Yemima Muskara (22), a tourist from Ecuador, is the second victim to die from last week’s terror attack on the Jerusalem Light Rail platform near Ammunition Hill. She was being treated at Hadassah Ein Kerem following the attack.
The victim was in Israel, and in the process of converting to Judaism. [We have a reader report that she completed her conversion to Judaism and was just waiting to receive her Teudat Zehut – Israeli ID card.]
She will be buried tonight, Sunday, at 12:30am (time updated). The funeral will start at the Shamgar Funeral Home and then head to the Mount of Olives.
The public is asked to go to the funeral.
The terrorist, Abdel Rahman al-Shaludi, also killed 3 month old Chaya Zissel Braun when he drove his car onto the train platform, running down nine commuters.
Shaludi, a member of Hamas, was subsequently shot by a policeman and died a few hours later in the hospital.
Following his death, Arabs in eastern Jerusalem began to riot again.
