Israel security forces have arrested two Palestinian Authority cells of at least half a dozen terrorists who attacked Jewish motorists with firebombs and rocks in Judea and Samaria.
A gag order on the arrests one of the cells was lifted on Monday by the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and police, who confiscated a large cache of weapons during the arrests.
Two of those arrested are minors. The cell carried out several attacks on drivers and passengers on highway 45, which connects the Jerusalem-Modi’in highway (443) from the Givat Ze’ev junction to the Atarot Industrial Park.
A second cell targeted drivers near the community of Neve Tzuf (Halamish), north of Givat Ze’ev.
The terrorists also have been charged with throwing explosives devices at soldiers and trying to break into an IDF post.
