Snow has arrived in Israel, and is expected to continue to whiten the slopes of Mount Hermon on the Golan Heights in northern Israel off and on for at least the next day or so.

The ski resort was closed to visitors due to the inclement weather.

In the Gush Etzion region of Judea, residents who had reason to go outside bundled up with extra layers against a snowfall mixed with rain on Sunday night.
