At least one vehicle was struck by rocks hurled by the attackers, which smashed the car’s windshield.

Miraculously, no one was physically hurt in the attack.

On Saturday, the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) announced that four Israeli Arab teens were arrested for the Jerusalem stone-throwing murder on Rosh Hashana of Alexander Levlovitz.

This past Thursday, the Security Cabinet approved new rules of engagement as well as immediate steps to combat stone and Molotov cocktail throwers.

A new, three-year temporary order sets the minimum penalty of four years in prison for adults who throw stones and Molotov cocktails. Judges may deviate from the minimum sentences but must provide reasons for it.
