El Al subsidiary Sun D’Or is launching a new direct route between Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport and Narita Airport in Japan, to begin in September.

The announcement was made Wednesday at the Israeli Embassy in Tokyo.

The first flight will depart from Tel Aviv on Sept. 13, and from Tokyo on Sept. 14. There will be 270 seats on the plane.
