The Israeli police closed Har Habayit (Temple Mount) to Jewish visitors on Thursday after they received information that the Arabs were planning to attack Jewish visitors to the holy site.
Following the closure, police began a search on the site for suspects, when they came under stoning attack by the Arabs on the site.
No one was injured in the attack, and no Arab stone throwers were caught.
On Tuesday, police arrested three Arabs who were illegally carrying knives on the Temple Mount.
In related news, rabbi and lawyer Chagai Yekutiel plans to file charges against the police for false arrest, after a policeman arrested him on the Temple Mount, for what he claims was no reason.
