Terrorist knife found during search of personal belongings at Qalandiya Crossing

An IDF soldier prevented a female Arab terrorist from carrying out a terror attack on Monday north of Jerusalem.

The woman was found to be armed with a knife as she attempted to cross through the Qalandiya security checkpoint, according to the IDF Spokesperson.

The woman, a resident of the Palestinian Authority, had with her an innocent-looking can of Pringles potato chips — but cleverly slipped inside was a very sharp laser kitchen knife, albeit one that was feminine, with a pink handle and beautifully decorated with painted strawberries on a white blade.

The weapon was discovered during a routine search of the woman’s belongings as she went through the checkpoint.

The suspect was arrested and transferred to security personnel for further questioning.
