Within minutes of the polls closing in Georgia, the Republican primary was called for Donald Trump. Cruz came in second, with 50 percent for Trump and 21 percent of the Georgia Republican electorate voting for Cruz.

Hillary Clinton beat Bernie Sanders with 70 percent of Georgia’s votes.
