Two British youths who stole a hair clipper, broken glass and buttons from the Auschwitz museum in 2015, were fined by a Polish court this week.

Marcus Bell and Ben Thompson, now 19, were on a class trip with the independent Perse School in Cambridge, where fees are more than $25,000 a year, when they were caught stealing the items.

The Krakow court fined them $665 each and ordered them to donate $2,000 to a memorial fund for Auschwitz survivors and their families.
