U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry arrived Wednesday in Israel as part of his ongoing efforts to arrange a cease fire between Israel and Hamas terrorists.

Kerry had little to say to reporters, however, and was quite terse in his statement upon his arrival for a meeting in Jerusalem with United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

“We have certainly made some steps forward,” he said. “There is still work to be done.”
