Mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner thinks he has the solution for small businesses to combat constant fines, but when it comes how to deal with delivery trucks blocking traffic, he is stumped.
He brought his “Keys to the City Ideas Tour” to the Avi Glatt Kosher market, according to the Capital website, and echoed other candidates who have promised to fix the problem of the fines. “It’s been clear that there’s been a ticket blitz that has gone on,” said Weiner, who came up with the idea of bringing in mobile vans to neighborhoods, where shop owners can contest fines.
When one man brought up the problem of trucks blocking traffic, Weiner admitted he had not solution.
“If you can solve this problem, you will be my commissioner of transportation,” he was quoted as saying by the website.
