WhatApp, the ubiquitous mobile phone messaging system, is now available on your laptop computer – and it works!

It requires that you have the latest WhatsApp app on your phone and an internet connection on both, as it shares the same account, data and connection.

On your desktop it requires that you use Chrome.

It currently works with the latest version any of the following phones: Android, Windows Phone, Nokia S60, BlackBerry and BB10 smartphones.

To use WhatsApp on your computer, go to: https://web.whatsapp.com/

On your phone’s WhatsApp menu select WhatsApp Web, and scan in the QR code that appears on the WhatsApp web page. It will then log you in.

You can only use it on one browser screen at a time.
