Fire started near Yitzhar, July 20, 2018

For the second time this month, residents in the Samaria Jewish community of Yitzhar were forced to fight a fire that caused heavy damage to structures in their town.

The fire caused tens of thousands of shekels of damage within the community. It’s not yet clear what caused the blaze, although arson is suspected, as it was in the fire that burned two homes and a barn on August 15, during which some 20 families were forced to leave their homes for several hours.
